ADAM Project Multifuctional Irrigation to adapt to climate change in vitculture
Multifunctional irrigation is proposed as a tool to help winegrowers combat the negative effects of climate change.
The aim is to achieve a dynamic management of the soil water status that can guarantee the best water nutrition of the vine and anticipate heat waves, creating ideal conditions for the plant to react more effectively to thermal stress.
In addition, the plant can be used to nebulize water with a climatizing effect, providing direct help both for the mitigation of the effects of high temperatures and for protection against spring frosts.
