The Department of Sustainable Crop Production (DI.PRO.VE. S.) plans to :
-Experiment winter later pruning in order to postpone the bud break, avoid spring frost damages and obtain a better freshness of the grape if in the case in which the phenological delay will be kept until ripening. These experiments will be conducted in the Castello di Gussago La Santissima vineyards in Franciacorta
-Assess the impact of spatial variability in the vineyards on basal bud fertility characterized by alternate production and reduce basal fertility. These experiments will be conducted in the Tenute Tonalini vineyards in Oltrepò Pavese.
